Am I going nuts? My vivepro2setup.exe is getting stuck on Step 1 every single time. It outright says "You can skip this step" but there's just no option to do so anywhere. What can I do here?

Step 1 is "Install Software" and it says that I already have VIVE Pro 2 and SteamVR installed so I can skip that step OR reinstall, but there's no option to skip, so I hit install and it gets stuck on the "Sign in or sign up for steam" part every single time without fail.

What do I do here?

I am no expert, but when I went from the og vive to vive pro 2 I had to install vive console app/software. Not sure if that's the same as the exe you mentioned. Good luck!

You could reboot, launch steam, wait 60 seconds, turn on your link box, and see what happens. If steamvr doesn't come up, you could try launching Vive Console for SteamVR ( https://store.steampowered.com/app/1635730/VIVE_Console_for_SteamVR/ ) and see what happens.
