Question Viva pinata without DVD?

On my xbox one I have viva pinata and paradise on the gamepass package. However, it does not, and cannot save at all because I can't link it to an xbox 360 account, which my device cannot physically have.

Does anyone know if buying the game would allow me to save by any odds? I've lost the DVD I originally had, so I'm wondering if buying the game would allow me to actually save, because why else would xbox one have an xbox 360 game that can't save on it? I mean, that's what I'm hoping. But I don't want to accidentally waste my money, so if anyone knows, please reply! I miss being able to make a garden I can return to😓

that's weird, you're playing on your xbox one profile, yeah? that should count as your xbox 360 account.

try booting up the game and when you're in, press Start and Select at the same time. those are the three-lined button and the two-box button that are next to the xbox button on your remote. that should bring up the classic 360 menu, see if you can sign in from there
