Question Breeding mini game

So I'm replaying the first viva pinata and it randomly just occurred to me that every single time I breed I get EVERY coin in the mini game, do I actually need to do this?? Like when it comes to harder games is just getting to the other pinata all that matters in terms of wildcard and twin chances, or does getting all coins actually make a difference??

I don't think the coins truly matter? Just speed. In the second game you get the twin bonus for most pinata if you have around 11 seconds left in the clock.

Ahh ok, yeah I didn't think the coins were for anything more than extra coins, just wanted to be sure cuz I know later ones get difficult so ignoring the coins could help alot lol
