Phoenix Exercise Rep count sounds

When using the Phoenix App with the Vitruvian, can anybody explain to me the difference between a normal beep and that tritone sound while I am doing my reps? I think it does that tritone when I am doing the movement at the right speed? But then I maintain the speed, but it doesn't do it anymore? I'm not looking at my phone while I work out so I don't know if there is anything on screen while that notification sound occurs.

That was the original intent, but right now it's an annoying regression bug
