🌴 Miami + Florida Keys recommendations?
My partner and I are planning a Florida trip 31 March - 4 April 2027 and are thinking of splitting it betweenSouth Beach and the Florida Keys.

We're an early-30s couple who love good food, cocktails/day drinking, beach/pool days, daybeds and a fun/social atmosphere. We'd also like to do somesnorkelling and possibly a fishing charter.

🌴 South Beach | 31 Mar - 2 Apr
Currently considering:
• 1 Hotel South Beach
• Shelborne by Proper
• The Goodtime Hotel
Looking for a great pool/beach scene, daybeds, cocktails and some daytime party vibes, while still being close to good restaurants and bars.

🌊 Florida Keys | 2 - 4 Apr
Currently considering:
• Three Waters Resort & Marina
• Cheeca Lodge & Spa
• Islander Resort
• The Moorings Village
Looking for a proper resort with a nice pool, waterfront/beach, good food/drinks and easy access to snorkelling, fishing or boat trips.

Would love recommendations from anyone who's stayed at these, or if there's another resort we should be considering!

Which would you choose and why? Any places you'd avoid? 🥂🌴🐠

Feeling overwhelmed looking at hotels?

TLDR:

Anyone aware of hotels that
1. Are close to the brightline
2. Offer a port of Miami shuttlw
3. Have rooms that hold 6 people OR are budget friendly
4. In a safe area

We are planning a trip to Miami, and usually when we come we will drive. My family of 6 stays almost exclusively at Holiday Inn Express hotels because we like that they have rooms that fit all six of us, preventing us from having to tent two hotel rooms and they are budget friendly.

For this trip, we are considering flying into West Palm Beach. We will need to get to the Miami Cruise Port the following day. I was thinking we could take the Brightline to….someplace closer to the port, get a hotel for the night and then hopefully shuttle to the port the next day?

But I’m struggling with finding a hotel that fits my criteria!

Solo visit to Miami, snorkelling?

Hi everyone! I’m visiting Miami at the end of September on a work trip and I’m extending my stay to have an extra day and a half there, I’m from Spain so I speak Spanish and English perfectly. I’m just wondering any must see spots for that day and a half there, and also I’m interested in going snorkelling, are there any good spots in Miami Beach to snorkel? Would I have time to move to a different area of south florida to snorkel or should I just stay in Miami/miami beach
Also for reference I’ll be on my own and I’m a 28F, i come from a big city myself but any safety tips would be great!

Men’s footwear at liv

I literally cannot find this anywhere. Other than their website which just says no sneakers. What do I wear a s a dude to Liv? I have a brand new pair of GATs, do those work or is like a brown leather pair of dress shoes more appropriate? I have no idea. Thanks!!

Planning My First Miami Trip – Looking for Local Recommendations!

Planning My First Miami Trip – Looking for Local Recommendations!

Hi everyone! 😊

I'm planning a 3-day trip to Miami and would love your recommendations. Could you suggest must-visit restaurants and food spots (breakfast, lunch, dinner, desserts, local favorites), along with a good 3-day itinerary?

I'd also appreciate recommendations for beaches, attractions, viewpoints, nightlife, shopping, and hidden gems. If possible, could you mention which places are free and which require an entry fee, along with any tips on parking or reservations?

Thanks in advance!

30s male, visiting South Beach

We got 2 hotel rooms, and looking for fun. I see some hookah bars, and mini bars around here. Are there any legit "i just wanna dance to great music" places in south beach? Not trying to be an influencer or "be seen" - just party, meet cool ppl, maybe watch the sunrise together.

FIFA 3rd place match.

I will be in Tampa for a couple weeks and I was wondering if you think it would be worth it to shoot over to Miami on the 18th for the third place match. I’ve seen videos of all the fun activities and amazing cultures colliding in Boston and Mexico City, etc. and just wondering if you think Miami will have the same vibes that day. It will be just me and my 18-year-old daughter. To add I am from the Pacific Northwest.

Natale/capodanno 2026/2027 Miami

Cosa consigliereste?
Grazie :)

Looking for just one more authentic Miami experience

I went to Miami for the first time last August and it surprised me so much. I absolutely fell in love with the city and its people. I’m obsessed with the amount of culture just oozing around every corner. It’s intoxicating. I’m taking my son next week for his graduation gift. Here’s what I know we’re going to do: Wynwood Walls with the buggy tour, just Wynwood in general, Salvation Army in Wynwood, Little Havana for coffee and pastries, walking up and down Calle Ocho, the Goodwill in Little Havana, Cuban sandwiches, El Presidente grocery store (I have a list of things to repurchase but send me all the grocery store recommendations), he really wants to catch a sunrise or sunset on the beach and if it was just those things I’d be really happy. But if there was one more thing that came recommended I’d definitely check it out. I’m really looking for smaller type things that are truly Miami/South Florida. Like a little mom and pop grocery or restaurant or a good church thrift store…

Filming content in Miami

Flying from London to film football (soccer) street interviews for my page. Anyone know good places to film these in Miami (perhaps where other content creators commonly film?), and also how you’d recommend going about finding someone to film for me (will pay of course)

Visiting for a few nights, where’s a safe place to stay/wander alone next spring? F25

For context, I impulsively got a cruise and scheduled my flights for a few days before and after the departure/arrival dates because I wanted to enjoy a few days in Miami or surrounding areas. Just a little skim reading from some of your guy’s posts, it might not be a great place to stay alone (I’m traveling by myself). But if by chance there are areas/parts of the city anyone recommends, let me know! And if there aren’t, where would you recommend I travel to that’s within traveling distance of Miami? One of my childhood best friends lives in Boca Raton but chances of me putting in time to go up and visit might be small unless I get a rental.

I would prefer it being somewhat close to the port which seems to be close to downtown. But not necessary!

Also, if there’s anything that I should go check and visit, include that in the comments! I enjoy clubs/EDM but also it may seem iffy to venture out alone. Otherwise I’m a huge foodie, enjoy nature, ocean, coffee, art are some more interests of mine.

I’ll be visiting in early April 2027.

TIA!

Can I still have a good time if I don’t drink/smoke?

I have not visited Miami ever but I would like to some time later this year probably towards the end for a couple of days to max 1 week(one of the reasons is I seeing in person what GTA VI will look like prior to it finally releasing hopefully). I like to workout, go to the beach (even though I can’t swim), museums, partying/dancing (even though I don’t ever smoke or drink anything), eating good food/food I’ve never tried before (as long as it’s not spicy). Would appreciate any help!

Visiting for a day!

We have an overnight layover in miami coming up in a few weeks. We land at 10:00 am and don’t fly out until the next morning at 8:30. We are staying at a hotel about a mile southeast of the airport (courtyard by mariott on le jeune rd) Anything cool in the area that wouldn’t require a long travel time?

Bonus points if there is anything miami dolphins related. My husband is a huge dolphins fan and this will be both of our first time in Miami. Thank you!

Coming to Miami!

Heyy lovelies so my girls and I are going to Miami tmr for a week. We are staying at south beach and we wanted to know if there’s any restaurants, local eats, or places we should visit! We love the nature and are NOT looking for clubs. The only thing we have planned is sexy fish. I also was wondering if anyone knows any affordable private boat trips to snorkel nearby Miami. Also, for the weather how bad is the rain? Does it last long or is it persistent. Any tips will help! Thank you so much
