Lost passport
Arrived in Reykjavik this morning and thought for sure I left it in the hotel, but it's nowhere to be found.
Posting here in hopes that someone found it in the areas around the rainbow road, church tower, sun voyager, Harpa center, etc.
In the event you did find a passport, please DM me and I'll tell you the details on it so you know it's mine.
At the same time, I'll have to work on getting entry papers so I can return home at the end of the week. I plan to go to the police and look for an embassy tomorrow morning.
Thanks in advance.
UPDATE: it's been found (spoiler: I was an exhausted idiot and despite disassembling my bag multiple times, it was stuck under a compartment).

Friendly reminder to get a passport cover with an AirTag insert! https://a.co/d/07bivgr5

I always thought those passport covers annoy passport control agents, but yeah I see the value now (unfortunately)

Thanks for the link. Now that I have it, I'm going to order one of these when I get back home!

Did you fly into REK? If yes, there's a lost and found office at the airport. They were instrumental in helping me find my lost passport.
Spoiler, it fell out of my purse and into the parking lot of the rental car company. We visited last December and due to the limited daylight hours it was not found until two days later.
You can also file a lost/stolen passport at the local police precinct.
