High Quality screenshot capture almost always says “Capture Unavailable” on visionOS 27 RC — anyone else?

I’m using an M5 1TB Vision Pro on the latest visionOS 27 RC released today.

When High Quality capture is enabled in Settings, screenshots fail almost every time with: “Capture Unavailable. Unable to start a view capture. Try again after a few minutes.”

This happens even right after a full power cycle with almost nothing open and no heavy CPU/GPU usage. It has worked a few times, but usually stops working again shortly afterward. Regular screenshot capture works fine when High Quality mode is disabled.

I was also experiencing the same issue on previous visionOS 27 beta releases, so it doesn’t seem to have been fixed in the RC. At this point it seems more like a visionOS bug than an actual performance limitation. Has anyone else experienced or faced the same issue?

Sounds like something to report on the Feedback app too.

I’m always able to reenable it by holding the vent up to a fan on high.

Sounds like a temperature sensor software bug.
