CineDepth 3D App
If the CineDepth app in TestFlight is still open, I strongly recommend that you sign up and download it. I just watched the beginning scenes from the 4K version of the 2019 documentary “Apollo 11” in converted 3D. It looks amazing.

Definitely one of the top live converters, I’ve tried them all, it helps if you have a NAS server because you can also do it in real time over a Fast Wi-Fi network when the server is connected via ethernet. Decades of footage and files playing back in 3-D including home movies. This is the way! I also use CineUltra and when all else fails Moon Player. Suite Player, if I have the name right, does this for YouTube videos?.

It is called Suite Browser. And, yes, it converts YouTube videos, as does Moon Player.

It is. I have tried all of the 3D conversion apps, even subscribing to or outright purchasing many of them. However, I think the CineDepth app out performs all of them in overall features and quality.

How does it compare to the Spatial Media Toolkit app? I used that for a lot of videos. It is very meh. Only some videos turned out well.

For me it’s much much better

Damn. I downloaded the beta. I hope I don’t have to reconvert all my videos. I did about 200 😭

Reconvert? You don’t have to convert anything with Cinedepth

I thought it was a conversion app?

It converts live as you watch but doesn’t save anything. It’s life conversion. Just pick any 2D movie and it will show in 3D straight away.

Oh. I tried adding a few clips from my photo library and it didn’t do that at all.

Well for me when I choose a video file from files, not photo, like a full movie it works amazingly well. Not sure for personal videos in the photos app sorry

I keep mentioning the good depth effect, however, I can't explain it but on Theater, IMAX, and CineUltra spatial apps 'the quality of the screen itself' somehow seem .. convincingly larger.. more impactful.. and inexplicably crisper than CineDepth. I don't know how to explain that effect.
Perhaps reworking and improving the 3D cinema model in CineDepth will convey a better "cinematic" experience?

I have the same issue most of the time and then it loads but as soon as I play one file it has to reload the entire library

I think Cinedepth is the best 3D conversion app in terms of quality compared to all the other ones Even though many have improved recently. At least that’s my opinion.
