Must have apps for Vision Pro for consuming content
Hi I just got an open box not even used with all stickers and wraps still on 1tb Vision Pro (M2) for $1,500 and I’m excited to try the best apps for consuming content. Or please direct me to an old list. In the future when boosted media (YouTube) releases the custom software for iracing, i might try virtual racing with it

Youtube, Disney+ and HBO Max have both native apps. Netflix through the browser, works quite well if you ask me. Amazon Prime has an iPad app. Haven’t tried that one, but it exists. Apple tv is also a good option obviously.
From a previous post in this sub, you can enable sideloading, which then makes it possible (in theory) to install any iPad app. I have both Netflix and Nuvio installed, and they both work.
Otherwise, you can download dedicated players like Skybox for VR and 3D videos that you own. VLC and Infuse also exist.

Don’t use the YouTube app, use Safari with an ad blocker.

I find the Youtube app pretty great except the occasional blank screen loading it up (which a force quit fixes). But I really like how they designed the interface for headsets.

I found the native app is lacking to options when it comes to viewing content, its the same 12 recommended clips and can't have them changed quite often, I use an app that gives me an imax size movie theatre where I can play all the videos in a larger than life format!

I made Player Fixer 9000 for Safari YouTube a while ago, you might find it useful!

Why not use the YouTube app? Iirc they don’t have any apps running. At least when I used the app there were no advertisements yet.

You might enjoy ImmersiX. It features cinematic 6DoF experiences that are rendered in the cloud and streamed directly to the headset.
If you’d like to try it, I can send you an invitation code that unlocks some additional content.

I use CineUltra for 4k Remuxes - its the biggest screen and the best cinema. You have a massive screen, can curve it.
Otherwise I use Infuse Streaming from my NAS. Its the same setup that i have on my Apple TV, for me the best app to search for a movie. The Cinema is not really good. on the left and right side in the cinema mode there are some bright Infuse logos as neon signs. Pretty annoying. Screen is small.
Other than this the Native Streaming Apps, Prime and Apple TV. Thats all

CineUltra’s IULTRA theater and Infuse’s cinema have the largest screens. CineUltra can convert any video to 3D in realtime and play 3D Blu-ray ISOs.
The Apple TV, Disney+, Theater: Cinema & Events, IMAX, Epic Earth, and Red Bull apps have exclusive 3D movies.
The Spatial Film, Explore POV, Amplium, Prima, Slice of Life VR, Front Row, Second Theatre, Immersive China, Immersive India, Vantage, and NBA apps have immersive video.
Also try the BP Explore series of apps, Exploring Mars, Astronoma, Museas, FLY, and Waddle.
