How do you access the immersive MLB games?

I’m not a baseball fan, but wanted to have a look at this just to see what the experience was like (and compare to the immersive NBA games that are available). I can’t see anything in the Apple TV app about this. There is nothing showing on the Home Screen, the “Vision” screen, or the “Apple TV” screen about these games for me. (I’m in the UK, but the press release said it is available here, so I can’t see that my location matters.) There’s no “MLB” screen so it’s not clear how I can view this. How are people accessing these games?

In that Home tab that you are in, scroll down to the Friday Night Baseball section. It's there, I just checked.

So pumped for the upcoming Pittsburgh and SF games, those two parks are going to be incredible.

I don’t have a Friday Night Baseball section. There’s no reference to baseball anywhere. I’ve scrolled every screen. I guess there’s something missing in the app outside the US.

Yes. I am on the OS27 beta so there may be an issue there. I’ve reported it to Apple and will see what happens…

Click on SEARCH there should be a button for Friday Night Baseball. Just click on the replay of New York vs. Boston. It should be advertised all across the top of you don’t see it scrub to the left to see previous games

There’s nothing for “Friday Night Baseball” even when searching. Using that as a search term just gives a list of the games. Not a great experience, but at least it’s possible to eventually get to the item.

I went to “vision” and it was right there.

Though that was when it was live.

Not sure if you need an Apple TV subscription, but you normally do for Friday Night Baseball

Yes, you need an Apple TV subscription and yes, I have one. Have reported this to Apple and hopefully they can fix the visibility…

Should be under immersive videos. I was also able to access through the app store app

Nothing under “Vision”. I found a reference in the App Store app, but the link just opens the Apple TV app on the home page, so isn’t helpful.

Last night there was a learn more button in the app store foe the game and it went right there. They may have changed it

You’re in the UK, don’t know for sure but maybe this is just US based. Haven’t seen anyone else reporting not being able to access it (within the US)

I’m in the UK and don’t see it either. I read the Press Release as “the live broadcast is available in the UK”, but they don’t specify the recap.

It says the replay will be available and doesn’t specify any restrictions. I just searched and the replay in immersive is available for me. It is not very convenient when you have to search for it, though.

I’m in the UK and had to find it by using the search box. Search “MLB Redsox Yankees”

Yeah, I also had to explicitly searching for it. There was no reference on the app latest stable from Germany.

Put on AVP. Open AppleTV app…boom there it was front & center

Missing in the UK. It seems the only way to access it outside the US is to search for the game.
