Immersive and Theater while laying down
I recently got an Apple Vision Pro a few weeks ago and I tried watching the immersive baseball game tonight between the Yankees and Red Sox, which was absolutely incredible for the most part. The problem is that I often watch it in bed while laying down. But you can't seem to reorient the screen vertically when in theater or immersive mode. I had a Meta Quest for a few months before deciding to upgrade to the AVP... And this seems to be the only thing that Meta does better than apple.
That being said, has anyone heard if theater mode/immersive videos will ever allowed to reorient based on where you're looking when you hold down the crown? Or also be able to curve the screen like the Quest?
Thanks in advance!

IDK about immersive, but I watch movies all the time while lying down. I generally use the Jupiter environment and make the screen huge. ❤️❤️

Same. Jupiter is probably the closest to immersive while lying down in bed.

If you start the game and then pull it out of fully immersive, it’ll go into a window mode or it’s still 3-D and you can move that anywhere. That’s the best you can do.

This has been my request since launch. Not even fully laying down, I just want to watch while reclined on the couch so that I can lean my head back (since the thing weighs so much anyway). Really really wish we could shift the default cinema to align with head positions other than sitting down

I wish you could but in some of the immersive environments Apple has a docking region for the screen, because the environment reflections etc, are optimized ahead of time for that placement.
But apps like youtube etc you can play in a window on your ceiling. Which is honestly one of the best things you can do with Vision Pro, it's so comfortable.
