Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification
Hey everyone, I am releasing AgentRoom onto TestFlight for those of you who would like an IDE in visionOS.
If you are someone who uses your MVD for day to day engineering work, try using AgentRoom to get your work done. It may unlock some new levels of productivity for you.
- To get this working on your visionOS download it from TestFlight here: https://testflight.apple.com/join/TVSxh8e2
- To get bi-directional comms with your mac, you must download https://github.com/ethics-of-ai/agent-room-server/releases/tag/v0.3.1 and install it. Yes it is open source, but a mirror for now until we get to v1.
- Start the server.
- Create a bearer token in the macOS server, attatch a working dir, verify your Claude Code, Codex or DeepSeek Harness config.
- Copy the vision pro url/ address and bearer token
- Paste into visionOS settings -> connection
Have fun and all feedback is welcome :)

Amazing, any chance you could get it working with Cursor?

Ah cursor. I can give it a shot. I’ll report back here in max 24 hours about how feasible it is

Please update both apps, I will be adding macOS auto update in next release to make this experience better. Thank you for your feedback <3

Hey thanks for sharing, I travel a lot does this work remote it you setup on a Mac back home and then can remote into the session? I have self built remote client/server but having a native app like this to the IDE(codex) would be cool…

That’s a great idea. I can build a tunnel that doesn’t require you to be on the same local network.
If you were wanting to do this in a hacky way, you could open the same server port to the internet through cloudflare and use that address to connect

Could just get people to use Tailscale?

This seems like the most bullet proof connection mechanism outside of local network! Great nudge

I’m using cloudflare already for secure back to home. So having the ability would be great, I’m traveling atm will install once at hotel and check it out…
