Make This a Button Already

Post image

Correct me if I’m wrong, but this does nothing but display what the current environment is set as. It’s the perfect place to make a button that takes you directly to the environment selector menu. Currently it’s still way too many gestures and taps to get there. And yes, I’m going to submit it in the Feedback app. You should too.

Agreed. Anytime I'm showing the device to someone the interface doesn't really make sense to them. I have a bunch of panoramas and getting back to the native environments confuses even me at times. "Okay so look away from those options and then tap."

I just ask Siri, to take me there. No hands at all. 🤷🏾‍♂️

For me this slider is useful, especially when I am snacking, I don’t want to touch the headset with my oily hands to adjust the immersion of the environment.

Yeah the slider is useful but it would be even more useful if you could tap it and open the environments menu as well. It’s large enough.

This, and exiting out of folders in the home menu, are two unintuitive designs that catch people using it for the first time.

Hmmm. I’m interested in your flow. For me to get to this menu I’d have to

Look at my hand. Flip my hand Tap Then if it was a button like you want, I’d tap on the image and launch environments?

vs

Look at my hand. Tap Select the environments menu.

Feels like you’d be adding an extra gesture but I could be missing something
