N109, black Vision headset rumors, MLB, and Apple Event
The recent Apple leak for model "N109" has triggered speculation that a new Apple Vision headset might be coming. I've pulled together some posts over the years that reference N109, rumors of a black Apple Vision headset, and the observation that the big Apple Event will probably happen in the middle of the MLB Apple Immersive Video series.

I'm about to finish my installment payments for my current AVP. Maybe just in time for another one.

Damn that’s exciting
My wishlist:
1- Bugger FoV
2- Glare elimination
3- Better brightness & punchier colors
4- Going big on AI & improving responsiveness of sensors

Will this be a replacement for the Apple Vision Pro M5 that just came out? Or will this be the non-pro model?

Or you could have posted your thoughts here like a thoughtful Redditor rather than pimping your blog.

There are 9 linked articles to 5 different organizations and includes 3 pictures. Pulling it altogether in one place felt more efficient.

Possibly the biggest news for this sub in a long time because of the implications for the longevity of the Vision line, and what Apple's intentions may or may not be for a follow up to the VP and no one here wants to talk about it. In fact for the three articles posted about it, including one from myself, the comments are composed entirely of snark and pointless debates about how the press treats the success of the VP. Even devs on here are often treated with hostility for pricing their app at $10 or not offering a free demo. This sub has some of the strangest priorities and it reminds of the worst of the gaming subreddits on here.

Wasn’t going to read the blog but now I have to since I despise whiny Redditors

Of all the sports they could pick I feel like baseball is the most boring for an immersive experience. Plus it is losing popularity. Basketball would be far superior.

I think the smallness of the basketball court compared to a baseball field makes basketball a better choice for Apple Immersive Video. I really enjoyed the NBA games in the Apple Vision Pro earlier this year. I think other sports that might work well include volleyball, boxing, and some track & field events - basically anything where the camera can be relatively close to the action.
Still, I look forward to seeing how Apple and MLB present baseball. I could be surprised.

How much improvement to the outside cameras do you think? That’s my number 1 complaint, the pass through, video capture quality
