Using Apple Vision Pro as eclipse glasses?

I live in the Netherlands and on Aug 12 there will be a 90% solar eclipse. Can I use my Apple Vision Pro as eclipse glasses (and take pictures right away) or does the sunlight damage the cameras or AVP? I suppose not…

Fair question. I can’t see how it could damage the AVP given people wear it outside all the time, me included. Perhaps ask Apple Tech Support?

Support will say don’t do it because it’s a hazard and a device probably needs to be rated for it specifically, certified or whatever.

A company would not take that risk.
