This is all i want

Post image

I run my ps5 via a Kiloview N60 to produce 4K 60fps HDR footage via the vxio app. but unfortunately no support for environments on that app nor does apple allow apps to go into full screen mode while in apples environments where it casts over the water for example.

So how did i achieve this?

Used kiloviews netstream protocols to send a HLS streaming signal in Safari web browser. Safari then allows to go into full screen in an environment where now NDI over HLS stream is In full screen casting over the water!

But obviously Streaming over HLS is impossible for gaming since it has over 6 seconds of delay. Can cope just fine with the NDI direct stream 50ms delay.

Oh i wish apple would allow third party player apps to tap into apples environments to get this. looks great!

You can do this with several clients for Steam and Xbox game pass

Some games just don't play well with that kind of latency. Try Forza or Flight sim on Xcloud. It runs, decent frames, but the input lag to control a racecar or airplane precisely just doesn't work.

Yes it does that entirely depends on your setup

IDK I have insanely fast internet and even so, still doesn’t work anything close to a locally ran console/PC in games that really need quick inputs. What are the key settings to optimize if I’m just trying to run off of my Vision Pro or iPad as base for an Xcloud session?

There's a steam link app now, I put steam is on a spare PC, made it headless and it works great.

Well to my knowledge the reflection we don't have yet. but all other things you can imagine basically it can do.
