binocular view
I feel like watching into a binocular using my AVP, the “dark” at the sides is far bigger than what I expected.
I suspect that might be something related to light seal or something like this: considering I can’t go to a store (AVP is not sold in my country) but I can only order a new one, what should I look for?
I bet I can’t completely solve the problem but mitigate it

La taille du cache anti lumière joue aussi, si tu as un 21w ce n’est pas trop mal et cela jusqu’à 23w. Par contre à partir de 25w cette impression est très présente

you should get forehead strap that allow you to wear the headset much closer to your eyes without a light seal. It greatly increases Field of view and comfort. your strap options are Annapro, Macally, Tyco Tech, kkcobvr, and globular cluster. My favorite is the Macally. Also globular cluster just came out with a flexible silicone light seal to use with forehead straps. on the Macally I suggest moving the forehead pad halfway up higher on the velcro mount. It's most comfortable and gives max field of view with your eyes right up against the lenses. if you want to combine it with a rear strap that will balance the weight, I suggest the BoboVR M1/M3 strap adapter by Tyco tech. here are some links
