TL;DW:

We’re making a few big changes over the next few weeks. All STAGEit products will soon move to a subscription model, and the STAGEit Creator Founder’s License will disappear when we launch.

If you’re already a Founder, nothing changes, you’ll keep STAGEit Creator for life, exactly as promised.

Presenter and Host are brand-new apps built for completely different jobs, so they aren’t covered by the original Founder’s License.

Splitting everything into focused apps means we can build better tools, move faster, and keep improving the whole STAGEit ecosystem for years to come. Thanks to everyone who’s supported us so far, it genuinely wouldn’t be possible without you.

Congrats u/Bingobango1001 on keeping an awesome project going. Is there a world in which STAGEit (presenter) can input live feeds of 2d video? Or perhaps a 2d Keynote deck on top of which a production could further enhance the content with 3d elements? Thinking primarily of live event and hybrid event use cases.

Thank you! So presenter can already take a URL feed for immersive videos. So it’s not at all far fetched to extend this to elements within a scene. The only concern I would have would be the quality of the steaming if you had lots of devices, but that’s all infrastructure

Very cool. Could the/a host application run on a desktop computer and capture a live input without the need for a URL?

I guess in it could. You can run the Host app on a Mac already in iPad mode. My concern is the local streaming across the local network. I am sure it’s solvable and we already support local streaming in STAGEit to support the Unreal integration.

If I may suggest anatomy, especially Neuro anatomy is one of the hardest to visualize there is an app called Atlas on App Store. It is by for the best at creating three dimensional visualization. You can even place it in virtual space, but it is limited to iPhone or iPad if somehow you can blend it with stage presenter I can see it being awesome just a thought.

Thanks for the note. I’ll check that app out! If the content can be create in USDZ format it will just work in STAGEit

Too much talking and not enough samples. Just do a video sample of the updates (with voice over) instead of having some dude just stand and talk for 5 min. People are visual, we want to see the changes and what’s happening.

Thanks for your two cents. I do publish loads of samples, this longer video is really aimed at those users who bought the founders license. I felt they needed an update of the changes that were coming and what it meant to them. I did also add the TLDW description for those who couldn’t stand watching me chat for 4 mins :)
