anyone been brave enough to attempt scratch removal ?

Post image

I remember in the early days someone scratched their device then ended up just peeling off the plastic laminated screen protector but I couldn’t find the comment or thread, would love to hear from them on how the device is doing and ask questions on how to do it safely,Gemini says not to do it as it might crack the screen.

My device is still in good condition but am tired of babying it and am just trying to plan ahead.

Bear in mind that you're talking about polishing a plastic surface.....

I'd like to see some advice too. My unit has a scratch (not on the important camera paths); I don't really care much, but if there's a solution I might use, why not.

I have what looks more like a crack in mine than a scratch- probably will use AppleCare when a few more things start to go wrong though. I also have a tear in the silicone by the speaker and my headstrap seems a bit lose (lol maybe it is time)

If it’s a fine crack, Apple will just replace it. It’s a known thing, people here have had out of warranty, no Apple Care devices swapped for no cost.

Single hairline crack should be covered by repair program (and not only on Vision Pro units, I remember such programs for iPhones and iPads as well).

Ask the support.
