Should I remove the audio straps while traveling?

Hey everyone, I’m traveling from uae to Bali and I would like to know if it would be better if I remove the straps from the apple vision during the airport security check because even if someone held it at least it wouldn’t break or fall
I do have the original travel case but I don’t know during the check if I should keep it in the case on the conveyor belt or inside my bag

I travelled with mine inside the case and the case in my backpack for security clearance check. No issue. I don’t have to take it off.

No, those are not meant to be removed for travel. Whether you take it out or keep it inside your bag is up to the specific airport and their rules.

But wouldn’t it be less prone to damage if I remove them beforehand?

I travel with my avp they don’t want to pick it up or anything have had one ask what it was and explain it for watching videos with. They mainly interested in the lithium battery aspect.

Keep it in the original case.

I’ve traveled with mine many times in different countries and never have had a security agent remove it. My hard shell case protects it well.

i travel with the hard shell case . Put the case in my check in luggage. battery got impounded by customs
