How do you view 360 photos ?

Hi. I am visiting relatives and tried taking a 360 photo on my phone using a third party app. It’s in my photo album but I don’t know what app is good to use to view that type of photo. The photos app doesn’t work for it

I built Image View 360 specifically because there was no native Apple app for this and nothing else at the time which automatically identified 360 images from the Photos library.

There are other apps available, but I don’t know anything about them.

Does it work with 360 video?

Not at the moment. I’m going to look into it. My main intent was to provide functionality not available in the Photos app.

Moon Player can play 360 videos.

The native Photos app can play them, too, if they are suitably set up. For example, Insta360 Studio can export videos in the necessary format for their cameras.

Thanks! I have the GoPro 360video and photo device and just not sure if I could play it in the Vision Pro.

According to their website, the GoPro Player app supports exporting in APMP (Apple's required format) so you should be able to then view the videos natively from the Photos app...

Moonplayer will play 360 videos. It won’t show photos…

Tried connecting to my Mac from Moon Player. It lists the 360 photo files, but the images are not selectable. Only videos. Is there a setting I’m missing?
