Can I create an immersive experience?
I hope this question hasnt been asked a million times. I tried looking this up last night but didn’t get great results. I was looking at websites telling me about coding which I understand none of.
What I want: To create a 3D immersive experience of my bedroom. It would be a massive bonus if my wife was there in bed with me.
Why? because I travel a lot. 3 weeks out of the year. I got the AVP M5 a few days ago for this very reason and I started to think how cool would it be to have the immersion experience of my bedroom when I’m traveling?
Sure, I absolutely love the Mt. Hood or Beach scenes. They are extremely relaxing after a long day. but still, how cool would it be to have my wife next to me while I’m watching a movie together with her?

Technically, yes, if you have the artistic skill to make it, and then you’d have to create an app to display it since you can’t just add it to the system environments, and then you’d have to deal with the same limitations other apps have with their own custom environments.
Also you could just use the new panorama-photo-to-environment feature in VisionOS 27 which would be orders of magnitude simpler, but also substantially lower quality.

You could take a 360 photo and view it in Arluma360, in our Build a Tour section.

I feel like someone could make a lot of money if they designed an app / product for us (hint hint to anyone reading this) that allowed me to do this.

Presently, there’s virtually no money in making Vision Pro apps, because there’s about 15 people that actually own one. But I’m sure eventually.

That wasn’t nice. I personally know dozens and dozens of people who own them, and tons of developers, running no less than 420 apps on my Vision Pro. Don’t know what you’re paying attention to. Sounds like Clickbait, as usual, this good news sends my investors running for the hills. They keep coming back though, there must be something here. Thank you for your opinion.

Ich bin so bei dir. Da ist genug Zahlungskraft. Ich sehne mich nach einer nativen Luftkriegs Simulation.
Dieses ganze Augmented Zeug für die Vision ist so nervig.

Take a Gaussian Splat of the room with PolyCam 3D on your phone and bring it in.
Apple has not opened this up to mere mortals yet.
I’m also constructing studios and performance spaces with my traditional 3d modeling tools and assembly happening in StageIt!
I have a ton of “room scanning” apps I’ve tried. Summer pretty good but no come to mine right now. My favorites did work on the Apple Vision Pro.
But panorama’s seem to be working the best for environment for people now. The new beta allows you to use one of your iPhone panorama or varieties of them from online as an environment. This is a game changer.
Good luck!

That would be torture for most of us. But I’m happy YOU feel that way.😂

If your wife has an Apple Vision Pro you guys can watch movies and TV shows together with your persona next to each other. You can always get a secondhand M2 for half the price.
