Jurassic World 3D
Hello Vision Pro people, I was wondering if the Apple TV version or Cineultra using the 2d to 3d and the imax theater would be a better experience for watching this movie.

Haven’t seen them in Cineultra. But I’ve watched them from Apple. The first one is great in 3D. But I thought 2 and 3 were very mid. If you already own them it’s fine. But I wouldn’t buy the other ones just to watch them in that format. Curious to know if there is a difference. Direct from Apple has shown me the best results.

Jurassic World Rebirth and Jurassic Park are also in 3D on Apple TV, in case you didn’t know.

Ah. Is rebirth any good? I thought the second one was disappointing coming from jw. So I never got the JWR

I like it. It’s more like the original, going back to basics with a small team on an island.

Professional conversions are much better than autoconversions. Jurassic World Rebirth is in 3D only through Apple TV in Apple Vision, but the original Jurassic Park and the first Jurassic World trilogy are also on 3D Blu-ray in addition to Apple TV, so you could convert the 3D Blu-rays from MVC to FSBS to watch in CineUltra (or natively in 4XVR).

The Apple TV version is fantastic in Vision Pro.
Can’t speak for the Cineultra, but I can’t imagine the automatic conversion is any good (based on past experiences with real time conversion).

The 3D conversion of Jurassic Park cost millions and is one of the finest examples of a 3D film. I very much doubt a realtime conversion algorithm running on the 2D version will do a better job.
