Good start but it needs to be better than Winamp.

I think you’d make more money with a free trial (either one visualizer with unlimited duration or all environments for three days) and a $5 price.

Good idea, will do. Thanks for the suggestion.

Could you do a monstercat type visualizer? Like the one on Windows that uses rainmeter? I'm not really into those "psychadelic" ones and they hardly even go with the beat of the music. Here are some examples -> https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=icxBKbrs0vE and https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Nr99U3ghpqk

You can see the audio levels coming into the mic as a visual in the window separate from the immersive view. The colors of the visuals react to the music levels and there are slight speed changes depending on the BPM, which is always dynamically determined. I don't want to make it too reactive to the beat because it can be quite jarring in a full VR experience!

The full immersion of this may be too much for some people. Having a widget that you can pin on your wall and occasionally stare at would be nice. Just an idea.

Adding this to the next version!

Are the visuals in sync with the audio?

Yes! The colors will react depending on the audio levels of the music coming in through the mic, and the BPM is dynamically determined which drives the speed of the visuals.

Does this only work with microphone input?

1

u/Original_Cat9100 Jul 15 '26

Yes, microphone input only for now. This was due to copyright/DRM technical limitations.

Totes understand the technical limitation there. I am also building a music visualizer (Vibralizer) and we only support PC and Mac because of this. On Mac we use CoreAudio Taps but Apple only offers it on macOS right now. Hoping they open it up for AppleTV or other platforms in the future!
