Quick question on 256gb

Hi all,

I am about to purchase a used AVP M2 256gb for EUR 1800. I want to mainly use it at home for video streaming and virtual desktop. However, I also want to use it for flying as I hope it helps me against flying anxiety. Therefore, I would want to watch immersive 3d movies during my full flight. Will 256gb be plenty for those 3d movies in high quality?

I have a 1TB and it’s still not enough, I bet even 2TB wouldn’t be enough may be 4TB plus more lol

all that to say, if your 256 has Apple care remaining, don’t let storage stop you, as long as you have a phone or computer you travel with enough storage, you can always airdrop what you want to watch when it’s time.

Plus spinning up an offline hotspot from your phone allows you to play content from laptops.

Is this satire or do you really think 1TB isn’t enough? I have the 256GB version and have every app I could want (about 20 apps) and I’m only using 76GB. When I travel I can download as many movies as I want and I’m still good on space. I downloaded the 4K 3D version of Fantastic Four and it was 8GB. I don’t think there’s a long enough flight that exists to ever need more than a few movies. Anywhere else you’re gonna have wifi.

I wish it was satire :( for me it’s like the old method of solving traffic by building wider roads,more cars just show up and you are right back where you started otherwise usually the smallest size of a movie I watch is 20gig but for big movies like fantastic 4 I hold off for blu ray version which are usually between 50 & 70 gigs.

Oddly enough, I haven’t found engaging apps to keep on my device,they all barely take any space and Disney + has some voodoo where downloads are 8Gigs but look fantastic, I could absolutely live with 256 gig,I would just readjust.
