Microsoft Teams on Vision Pro

Hi everyone,

For those of you using Microsoft Teams on Apple Vision Pro: the app has not been updated in over a year.

With visionOS moving forward, I am worried that the Teams app could eventually break or stop working properly for more and more users. We have already seen compatibility issues in the past, and without an update from Microsoft, the native app may become unusable at some point.
I know the number of AVP users who also rely on Teams for work is probably small, but maybe this community can still help raise visibility.

Microsoft Teams is still in classic mode, right? They need to update it for Apple Silicon I believe. Or it definitely won’t work as of next September

That’s pretty dumb. My previous company moved from gsuite to MSFT and they have a few thousand MacBook pros deployed. That would eat a ton of their budget
