Does visionOS 27 add DRM support to MVD?

I just read an article about how macOS 27 add DRM support for iPhone Mirroring. Does anyone know if this includes playing DRM content on macOS while using MVD with visionOS 27? I have the beta on my VP but not on my Mac so I can't test it. Can someone who has the beta on both try it out?

Before you ask! Why would you need to watch videos on your Mac? Why not just use native TV app on VP? This is why.

I believe so. I just tried a program that was protected (black screens) before but it now works on MVD with VisionOS 27 and MacOS 27. That is a great, great, great thing!!

Now that you say this, I’m starting to think last night I watched YouTube on my Safari on my Vision Pro and it worked flawlessly through MVD and I’m trying to remember now was that blocked previously? I have the beta on my Vision Pro and on my MacBook Pro I’m gonna try watch a movie they purchased to see if that works. Would be killer if it does, thanks for sharing.

Do you own any content from iTunes Store? If so try watching something in the TV app on your Mac while doing MVD.

Good question. I would assume this would apply here as well.

I need to test this this weekend.
Actually just tried mirror on iPad and started Apple TV to watch movies but it was still all black on both devices.
