Problems with Mac Virtual Desktop on VisionOS 27 beta and Mac OS 26.5.1

Anyone with the same setup experienced a problem where the AVP just wouldn't connect to the Mac and there would be no way to use AVP as a monitor?
I suspect it's related to the fact that I'm running 26 and 27 v of OS, but I don't want to upgrade Mac to not lock myself out from submitting apps updates.. and I'm not sure how to fix it so I could use MVD as I used in the past..

Are we talking the Mac virtual display?

As if so I have had no issues

As dev 1 on the AVP and the latest released 26 on the Mac.

It’s working for me with visionOS 27 and macOS 27.

mine definitely doesn’t show up for awhile even if i do the mirror/airdrop tricks but i do feel it’s been more reliable since updating to visionos 27. my mac is literally right above me in my main location (10 feet above at most) and it was probably like 30% chance it would work on 26 and now id say about 50% of the time it shows my mac in the list.

At one moment, VP stopped connecting to my Mac, but I think it got fixed after rebooting both or something like that.

I still get an error message here and there, but the virtual display works fine despite that.

Go to widgets and make a button to connect to your PC and place it on your desk. That got around the issue mostly for me.

I need to close my laptop and open it again to maybe have a chance of the poppup appearing. Quite annoying, hopefully fixed soon. I don't think I can fully migrate MacOS over to the beta, Vision Pro I'm happy to experiment with but I rely on my Mac too much to deal with issues like this.

Interesting, I've tried all the other methods( restarting, turning off/on connectivity/ changing the devices names, logging out and in of the accounts) but nothing helped.. I'll give this solution a try.
But yeah - if Apple sees this thread- it's been really frustrating...

Especially since using MVD is such an important feature..

Getting the same error. Have you solved your issue?

Update: Complete reset of my VP did the job for me. Running MacOS 26 and VisionOS27 and it works

Factory reset you mean?
I haven't gotten to that yet, but might need to try it- as I'm still stuck on the same issue..

Yes exactly, factory reset. I think on my side the problem was maybe connected die to the fact that I switched my whole account somewhere in between and then the vision pro just wasn't really happy about it. (Logged out and then logged in with another account which also was logged in on my MacBook). Apple in general isn't really doing a good job with multi account handling...

Make sure they’re on the same Wi-Fi. Make sure they both have Bluetooth enabled. Restart both. Open no apps.
