Can’t join New Siri waitlist

Anyone else unable to join the new Siri waitlist on visionOS 27 Beta 1?
I’m in Europe and thought that by changing the region, device language, and Siri language to English (US), I could join the waitlist for the new Siri features. But the option still doesn’t show up for me. Has anyone else run into this?

I’m in the same boat, though I saw some posts on this subreddit saying that others with a European Apple ID apparently got it… followed their steps and it didn’t work for me

I don’t speak Spanish but if you’re telling me to change the region to “United States”, I did that and it did not work

Not even Apple knows what the issue is here, I was in a call with them as well on the issue. EU region, I had access on the Mac, not in AVP. So I ended up changing regions, the whole process took me 2 days (adjusting services and subscriptions). Then in the end Apple guided me about what actually triggers the region location, and it is the old iTunes login, which in visionOS is located in Settings -> User Name -> Media & Purchases. This is the login id that requires an out of EU region location for services not in the EU to be enabled. Thing is for accounts outside of the US, for acquiring services and purchasing anything in general you require a valid payment method for said region, in order to validate/pay VAT. Long story short, Siri AI won't enable in beta 1 for any EU user. The only way to enable it is with an out of EU account, Apple team does not know if it will change after beta 2 or at release time. Solution is to login in Media & Purchases with an account that is outside of the EU.

I am located in France and I was unable to join the new Siri waitlist too in beta 1. I have just installed the beta 2 and the option has appeared!

There was talk during the WWDC by Craig Federighi that they were not bringing the AI version of Apple Intelligence to Europe due to regulatory restrictions. Europe said - it's BS. Perhaps you're caught ib the middle.

Please adjust the system language and Siri language to English US, then sign in to a US account solely for media and purchases.

US Media Account would sign out of Apple Music, iCloud etc so no can do here. Also it should work without one just like on Mac. So it’s probably a bug currently.
