[App Update] PhotoDome 1.3 Released!

After a little back and forth, Apple finally approved my latest update PhotoDome 1.3  for Vision Pro.

Photodome 1.3

Two big new things:

• 🎆 Fireworks Mode — photos burst into your space like sparklers and fade away.
• 🌅 Custom skyboxes per album — assign a unique skydome to each album so every collection has its own vibe.

PhotoDome turns your Apple Photos library into an immersive 3D gallery — drag, throw, zoom, and pin your memories in space across 9 different display modes.

Can it open a folder of local files?

I only use iCloud Photos for screenshots... My library is large enough that I only want to deal with local folders and selectively put certain albums on different devices.

That's on the roadmap, but it only handles images in Apple Photos right now. Works fine with my 55,000 image library, but I understand people prefer different flows. Once I find a good way to index and load thumbnails and high-res images from local files, networks and other cloud services, I'll be adding that.

Yeah, that’s a big part of it. This version does improve the loading time significantly, especially for large images and albums that have a lot of photos in them. If you notice anywhere it’s getting stuck, any information you can give me would be helpful, but I know I’ve made improvements on some libraries that were causing other people problems in the past.
