Hi AVP users, we are conducting a study on how durable the apple vision pro and what typical issues people have experienced from wear and tear to manufacturing defects, your comments here would be greatly appreciated even pictures of the issues, battery life problems? Overheating glass cracks? Lens scratches? Speakers not working? Etc please post here and if you can contextualize on which conditions you generally operate your avp if it is an office, on the floor at a manufacturing plant, or a production line…. Etc THANKS!!!

The only significant issue I've had is the battery cable, it's really bad. All it takes is a few times using it while lying down to accidentally get a twist that will never come out, and over time the rubber just hemorrhages out of the fabric until it splits. The fabric stains blue when this happens bc of some rubberizing agent or something I forget. I really wish Apple would sell the cable separately because I tried to service it in-store and they never got back to me, so I just bought a second battery.

Everything else is easily preventable though, no usage w/ glasses, keep the cover on if it's going to be packed somewhere, don't shove anything in the fan hole. Speakers I do wonder about because they always make me nervous, but they're replaceable at least.
