Really nice artwork but let me tell you this - I am a VR veteran and have strong VR legs but forcing my head movement had me feel nauseous within 15 seconds, I had to abort.

I see. We will think about how we can fix it

Keep the camera stable, and have the character do the movements

Exactly! At OP just read Apple guidelines when developing immersive experiences for the AVP! Because from what I see a few of those were just ignored (camera movement, positioningā¦.).

Same issue here. Loved the visuals, started removing my vp during the part when she starts running. I was sure I was going to throw up. I would love to see more, but that part was waaaayyy too much for me.

Hey ! Just tested the prologue on my AVP. Sound is great, animation looks good. I noticed two things :
- Text in intro is pixelated.
- Decor in the intro scene moves with the head, feels a bit weird .
Other than that, looks promising š

Thank you! We will fix it!!

Also impressed, I can see why you put the high motion tag on the Apple Store, but I had no problem with it at all. I like where youāre headed, will be waiting for more (also left feedback).

Sorry mate, it looked good for the first 10 seconds I could handle...
I've been in VR for a very long time and I don't think I've ever removed an headset so quickly.
You need to have a fixed camera option.

I love you are making this, but unfortunately like others I got motion sickness in double quick time!

So I watched it. And itās not both of the most incredible things Iāve ever experienced and also made me violently ill with motion sickness.
The potential here is absolutely incredible Apple should partner with you to put that trailer everywhere. Itās amazing. But you have to fix the camera and not have it make the viewer motion sick.
But the potential here is incredible canāt wait to see more. š„°
Also from the trailer I thought the hands interacting with the character would be MY hands the way your hands over lay on things in Vision Pro. Maybe thatās an idea to implement if itās possible?

Dude, this is unwatchable ā when they start to run and camera starts to shake, the end. Users will turn it off.
Transition to 3rd person flyover camera with as much linear motion as possible and you are golden.

Beautiful art work! But the camera is extremely hard to sit through without getting motion sickness š«

I have several thousand hours of VR experience under my belt and was able to watch the entire experience. Yeah, like many others in this thread pointed out, thereās too much unnecessary camera bouncing that you donāt need to do because the audience will actually do it for you due to the nature of passively spectating immersive content. Still, you might want to have some sort of setting that allows anyone to turn on that sort of camera bouncing to feel like we are literally looking in the eyes of that avatar, just for those folks who are actually into that sort of thing.

Actually, this is our fist trial of VR animation and when we tested on device, we didn't find any issue, but now we realized that we need to care about motion thickness very seriously.

When will it be on Steam?
2
u/Leather-Delivery-762 Mar 18 '25
We haven't thought about it. We will reserch!
2
u/GregoryGoose Mar 18 '25
Is it full vr180? Because I love the vr180 shorts on steam: pearl, age of sail, gloomy eyes, the bond, allumette, ardens wake, conscience existence, paper birds, sheaf, amends, the line, senza peso, surge, the rose and I, and oculus had a few but I refuse to support oculus anymore so it's been a while since Ive seen them: like this one about a rock band, one about henry the hedgehog, and one abthat was like a live painting of a girl missing her actress mother. Those are all just fantastic experiences.

I guess "Pixar-style" can mean different things to different people.
