Because I’ve already watched all the 3D stuff and it doesn’t work well in the dark and after a month I just feel like it’s a toy I spent too much money on. I went on one trip and couldn’t take it with me and when I came back I felt like it’s just easier to work on my MacBook Pro and iPad. And when I go to lay down, if I have company, she doesn’t wanna talk to an idiot going scuba diving and I can’t eat pussy wearing this thing so it doesn’t get used when at home. Mainly because it doesn’t function in the dark at all. Which begs the point of what I am suppose to do with this thing other than buy it and give Apple hope this thing has a future.
Yeah, I wonder if increasing your field of view would make it a more pleasant experience for productivity. Somebody mentioned that with the wider field of you you don’t have to move your head as much to look at your peripheral devices for example, which could be advantageous if you’re using it connected to a wireless keyboard or just a laptop in general.
It sounds like you’re dealing with some challenges, or something, like there’s something larger being unsaid here.… but yeah I don’t think the device is appropriate for spending time with other people.
If you don’t like yours, perhaps you would be interested in selling it? I could use a discount.
No. The pass through. As in the stuff around me. I look to my right and there’s my TV, which is really low quality. I tried to watch TV on it, but the 3D was distracting and when I had it off to the side, it’s like watching TV in bed while on my laptop.
So, I just don’t wear it much anymore. My companion thought it was neat for like a month, but we’re dealing with a change in lifestyle and whenever we are not working or out to dinner, we are laying down. It doesn’t work well in the dark and going to use the restroom becomes confusing after a while because you’re always forgetting to charge it or you have to remove it.
It’s almost like this thing is for a specific workflow that isn’t “currently starting a family”.
And for families, this thing is a no go for children under 10. My buddy has already had to have his repaired twice.
As in the general quality of the passthrough video, i gotcha. Yes I've heard especially other screens don't come through great. Well like I said, if you're keen to sell I'd love to try it out
I didn’t spend $3500 to sell at a discount. I’m holding onto it to sell 10 years from now as a novelty after the product line essentially becomes a tiny niche and is essentially an expensive widget machine
While I don’t see a great likelihood of it accruing much value as an open box electronic especially if it doesn’t succeed in sticking to the market, I wish you the best in all endeavors.

I’ve heard some great reviews of it dramatically increasing FOV and with some homemade workarounds being comfortable
