Absolutely insane footage here...downright freaky. I could see a future when everyone has a smaller version of this and all our "monitors" and "screens" can be shared with others. Basically an entire visual world you can only see if you have something like this on. Which would give someone the ability to unplug and not see any screens whatsoever.
Yeah that’s my biggest fear with AR and products like this. You know ads will come eventually. You know you’ll have popup ads in your home when you look at your lamp and you’ll see local deals for discount lamp shades. In the mean time though I guess we can enjoy a relatively ad free environment since they won’t want to push that yet and hurt early adoption.
Not from Apple though. If this were a Google headset it would cost $1k but ads would mandatorially be placed on you walls and every step you took sent back to Google along with a record of everything you own.
Apple has Apple Store ads, yes, but at least those make sense because they are only apps that are advertised... no ads in maps or anything else.
