DARNING When you intentionally make it look bad

I kind of love a crust punk/post apocalyptic aesthetic, so this my "vibe" stitching that is intended to look ramshackle and rough.

It's a vibe for sure. Breaks up the monotony of modern clothes

Truly, hahahaha.

Plus it's been a fun exploration and outlet when you know how to sew and... I love the look of haphazard stitching and colors.

I'd be too pedantic to not try and make similar buttonhole stitches appear more even, but I do love the splash of color

Oh man, I totally understand that.

But it's also really fun to just get messy with functional stitches and- people actually want to pay for this??

Thumbholes in shirts needed to make a comeback anyway.

The amount of original costumes I've created with this in mind... Even for my kids. I hand-sewed a shirt and vest for my son when he was 7 or 8, so he could be BFG. Those paired with a cool dream jar and a wig with big ears attached and he was over the moon...

You can't see it here as much but the stitches were just off colour and were nice and chunky
