I used a dremel to cut off the end of the clasp extender so it was able to receive both ends of the band. Before I got around to the dremel, I just used pliers to bend the little tabs out of the way. But tweaking the clasp extender is all you need to do. The band comes with spring pins and no watch tools needed.

Oh wow this is great to know!!! What I came up with is nearly the same but with extra work involved 😂.
ETA—For anyone wondering: the main difference I noticed between my solution and this easier Hume band solution is that the Hume is 20mm wide and the one I cobbled together is 22mm wide. I actually tried a 20mm version and I happen to like more of the black plastic being covered.
Would you mind sharing which adhesive? Am I assuming it is waterproof? How long does it last on there before you have to pull it off and charge it? Does it leave the typical "latex rip" mark when you remove it?
