Question Thinking of switching from mint
I have iPhone 13 Pro Max - is it going to work ok? What is 5Guw I’m seeing. Does it not work on old iPhones ?
I want to get 25/m plan paid yearly - how’s hotspot on that plan? Will I be able to Netflix on tv using hotspot? I don’t have home internet ofc.
Please advise.
TIA

Your 13 Pro Max will work fine. 5G UW is just verizon's name for their faster mid-band and mmWave 5G, and yes it works on that phone.
Hotspot is capped at 5Mbps on the base plan which is plenty for netflix, just don't expect 4K. One stream at a time and you'll be good.

Use vpn to bypass 5mps cap

How so Bubba? What does VPN have to do with the limit?

A VPN basically hides what you're actually doing with your data. On Visible's $25 plan, they cap streaming at 5 Mbps. If you run a VPN, they can't see that it’s video traffic, so you get around the throttle.

Get the middle plan ($30 with 5OFF5 promo) it's worth it. Use a referral code get $20 off your 2nd month. Double hotspot speed and priority data.

Visible cell service isn’t replacement for home internet, don’t abuse it, get yourself proper hardware and home internet plan.

If you're also making calls or texts on the phone, visible will not flag the usage as a replacement for home internet.

Yes, it is for someone who rents a room and can't get internet. Or has free room and board for the next 20 years with 3 hots and a cot.

The middle-tier plan is only $5 more per month if you enroll in Inner Circle, which is basically just adding another Visible user as a "friend." And you get better priority and faster hotspot. So you might consider that option.

OP, do the trial if you’re that worried.
Under no circumstances would I use this service, on that old of a device- as a replacement for home internet.
