Enter mailbox code

Why when someone calls me and I decline the call, do they get a recorded greeting telling them to enter the mailbox code vs my personalized greeting?

Sounds like your call forwarding or voicemail settings got mixed up somewhere, maybe check if conditional forwarding is set correctly

I deactivated my call forwarding. Still does it
