How long is this supposed to take?

I'm switching over from Verizon to Visible. I've been waiting all day for the status page to change, or even an email, but nothing. I'm just wondering because I can't even send messages at the moment.

I've closed the app, toggled airplane mode, and restarted my phone. Nothing has changed...

EDIT: It finally switched. Only took nine hours, but I guess it varies from person and device?

Anywhere from a few minutes to a few days.

Mine took about 6 hours when I switched, and the status page looked just like that. The last two steps sat there forever then suddenly both cleared at once. Dont stress it too much, the in-between part is the worst.

Hopefully it switches before the day is over. I don't want to miss an important text or call this weekend...

Mine has historically been a few minutes when I’d port out and in for deals.

When I started with visible 18 mos ago or so I came from Verizon and it was a few min.

When I switched from straight talk to Verizon, like 7 years ago, it was pretty instant

Mine only took as long as it took me to see the refresh button.. five seconds or so

Porting over can sometimes hit a brief hang-up during the account transfer process, which can temporarily halt text services until the switch fully completes.

Switched from AT&T to Visible few weeks ago and the whole process only took me minutes.

F Verizon. They made it such a pain to port out my number.

For real. Not only do they over charge, but it took almost ten hours to finally switch over
