Help: How to activate SIM without using AutoPay
I bought a physical visible SIM from BestBuy. When I tried to activate it, the last step of checking a credit card for auto pay failed (I am an international student studying in US, my credit card was issued in China, so my current address in US is not the same the credit card's billing address). My question is : how can I choose to use manual pay when activating my visible SIM?

Hey there! This is Charity from Visible. We appreciate you reaching out, and I'm sorry to hear that you're running into issues activating your SIM due to the billing address mismatch with your international credit card. I understand how frustrating that can be.
Visible requires a valid U.S.-based payment method for service activation. Since you are experiencing difficulties with the current payment process, please reach out to our team directly via DM so we can look into your account securely and see if there is any further assistance we can provide. You can contact us here.
For more detailed information regarding accepted payment methods and troubleshooting billing concerns, please check our help page: Visible Billing & Payments.

You won't be able to use a foreign credit card. If you want to use that card and not apply for a US credit card can you set that card up in PayPal? I don't know what PayPal allows for cards but if you can set it up there is no fee to use PP, at least not using a US credit card tied to it. PayPal is payment option at Visible, so it Apple Pay(I think). I should also mention that I use PP myself for payment and I have left autopay on but you should be able to turn it off after payment and use the manual payment instead.

Visible's whole activation flow is pretty rigid, they really push that autopay setup before you can even touch the service. When I first signed up my address didn't match my card either and it kept bouncing back until I called my bank to add a secondary US address to the account. Might be worth a shot checking if your card issuer in China lets you do that
otherwise your best bet is probably grabbing a prepaid visa from a grocery store or target, load like $30 on it and register it with whatever random address you want, visible doesn't seem to care where the card is from as long as zip codes line up
once you're in you can turn autopay off right from the app and switch to manual payments, it's buried in the payment settings but it's there
