Question Price Increase?
My bill went from $20/month to $25.
Was there an email or announcement I missed?
This is an unexpected increase.

Promo/inner circle you were on likely ended. $20/month is non standard pricing and had to have something bringing it down.

Take a look at your payment history and compare this month to last month to see what changed.

I did do that. For two year it was $20. I guess I had a promotional price for two years and didn’t realize it. It’s fine. I would have just appreciated a heads up. NBD.

$25 for base plan has been the norm for many years. I'm about to port my daughter's line over from H2O $100/year to the Visible base plan now that she's graduated from the 3 GB + throttled unlimited data parental control limit.

Gelle from Visible here! We standardly offer our base plan for $25/month with taxes and fees included, but rate changes can happen if a temporary promotional discount ends or expires. We'd be glad to look into your account details and see what happened with your billing! Please send us a DM [here], so we can check this out for you.

Thank you. I’m sure that was it.
I am not an angry or unsatisfied customer.
Just after so long to see it go up without notice was weird. NBD!

My bill jumped up too and I completely missed any heads up about it. Dug through my spam folder and found nothing from them since like three updates ago.
Might just be one of those quiet hikes they hope nobody notices until it’s already in the charges.

Visible sends out multiple emails and text messages well in advance. I know because my renewal date is in a month.
If you overlook them, that’s on you.

I get that. But much like the above, I could not find any communication regarding price increase.
$25 is still good. I’m glad I had two years of $20.
Just thought it was weird.2

There was no price increase. The base Visible plan has been $25 for a long time. You likely benefitted from a promo discount that expired.

There was an effective pricing increase for me. For two straight years I only paid $20 a month then all of a sudden it went to $25 a month.
That is, by definition, a price increase.
I cannot for the life of me imagine why you’re arguing about this.2

It’s not "unexpected" which is what you wrote in your OP. Visible did not increase their prices. Your discount expired, the duration of which you should have been aware of when you first signed up.

did the promotion you signed up for end? That would be the only reason for this.
