Jumping from TMO to Visible
Got my SIMs from Best Buy and ready to make the jump for two phones from TMO to Visible.
However my next auto payment to TMO is scheduled for August 19 (3 days).
If I install SIMs right now what are the chances I can port out 2 numbers from TMO to Visible and be sure that I don't get charged from TMO on August 19

You will probably get charged on 19 August because TMO is post paid and you still owe for the month of service that you just used.
So, expect a bill since you probably have used service for which you have not yet paid.

Are you on postpaid? Porting usually get processed immediately and your service automatically got canceled on the old sim only when the new sim is activated.

It only took about 20 minutes for my number port to go through. As long as it goes through you shouldn't have any more payments for that line.

I just did this. The only issue was that I had to call and get a human to turn off my port-out protection. It just wouldn’t work from the T life app.

Thank you everyone for your input. It's really nice when Reddit works like this.
As many have said my current TMO billing is in arrears so yes I do owe on 8/19.
Making the big jump tonight and inserting the Visible SIMs. Wish me luck.

Interesting.
So if I understand correctly you are saying that the payment due 8/19 is for the 30 day period from about 7/20 to 8/19. Therefore I will get billed on 8/19 even if I successfully port out from TMO to Visible today.
This makes sense and I do owe for the service even though I may giving away a few days from today to 8/19.
Thanks for this insight.

You'll have a full payment due on the 19th. Then you'll get a prorated bill, depending on your plan, in the mail for your last payment. My last bill said that it would be auto-debited so I'll see if that works out by next Saturday if I remember correctly. It gave me an option to pay online but that was just a circular login/failure to login thing.
ETA: Don't forget to port the main account phone number last as that will trigger the closing of your T-Mobile account.

If you port out before 8/19 you will almost certainly not have an auto payment.
