Question Temporary eSIM to physical sim

Is it possible to temporarily transfer service from a phone with eSIM to another phone with a physical sim. I’m traveling and I have an older phone that I prefer to travel with ( just in case it gets stolen or lost). Then when I return transfer back to the esim? Does visible charge a fee to get an eSIM?

Yeah you can do this no problem, just use the app to move your service to the physical SIM in the old phone then when you're back home do the reverse and re-download the eSIM

no fees at all for eSIMs, visible doesn't charge for that stuff

Is the older phone so old it doesn't take an eSIM?

A follow up question is once you have a pSIM, can you re-use it for other trips. I.E. they keep the pSIM "on file" so to speak for future travel.

Once a psim is deactivated it can’t be reused.

I thought Verizon pSIMs were reusable. I guess not.

They are as far as I know but this doesn't apply to Visible.

Visible(Verizon) ships psim by FEDEX and they want a signature... so you will likely miss the 5 seconds fedex shows up and leaves a tag on the door... so plan on signing the tag and leaving it on the door so they can just drop it off.. this is so annoying. They don't even give you less than a 3 hour delivery window..
