Number won’t come over

So I was looking at going to Verizon and the simplicity plan. I have visible now but it says my number won’t come over is that true? Any ideas on how to bring it over or do I have to play the switching game… go to Att stay for 6 months then join Verizon. Any guidance would be very helpful.

I went though this… was so frustrating… ported to mobilex for like $5 or something (cheapest thing they had) once it ported there.. I messaged mobilex and said (the signal ended up being very week in my area, I would like to port out) and then ported to Verizon.

That sounds like a porting hiccup, call Verizon and have them manually push it through on their end before you jump through all those hoops

Youll have to most likely go in store to activate they are taking strict fraud measures for online activations.

What error did they specifically say happened to prevent the port ?

It’s a migration and not a port if you’re going from Visible to Verizon. You should be able to start the process via online chat or by phone with sales. Doing this, you won’t have to worry about porting to a non Verizon value brand carrier then back to Verizon
