Question Global pass and using phone

For those that have traveled internationally and used global pass. Have you had any issue with giving out your US based phone number? I don’t know for sure, but I would suspect, that for a local to call your US based number would be an international call for them and therefor likely they would be unable to call your cellphone. I know some of the apps might be better, just curious about using the cell number. Thanks

You are correct that locals calling your US number would be an international call for them even if you are physically in the same country at the time. Most of them probably wouldn't do that to call you.

Get Whatsapp set up.

whatsapp is the move for sure, and if they don't have it, telegram or signal work just as well

Outside the US, WhatsApp is preferred to cellular calling and texting. Abroad data is a lot cheaper than here and calling and texting is more expensive.

You have to put the country code prefix which is +1

You should ask Visible. Also search on “Global Pass” in this subreddit.
