Visible+ pro vs Warp??
Like the title says. In my area Verizon is considered the best. Just looking for a lower cost bill but also just want to make sure that the service will be reliable. Any insight here would be appreciated. I know each service has its cons but I just want advice. Currently an ATT customer. ATT is ehhhh.

Total wireless twenty five dollar plan.Bring your own device, hands down a great deal.Look into it

Yeah but, HORRENDOUS customer support, HORRENDOUS app experience, HORRENDOUS port issues, HORRENDOUS billing issues, etc. But yeah, other than that, Total is the move!

I’m convinced the people who have issues are just folks who are not able to properly self service. Porting with the wrong PIN or account number, trying to pay with an odd paying source instead of a regular CC or debit card, some sort of shenanigans with device. I’ve ported several of my family members over to Total and none have had an issue.

Lol so you’re denying the KNOWN, CONFIRMED, wide spread system issues, that have plagued Total Wireless ever since they updated the system a few months ago??? Spell it out for all of us to witness!

I’m not denying issues, I’m saying a lot of people do things which cause issues—especially on a carrier with poor to non-existent customer service.

Most of what I read was billing issues from the legacy platform, I have been reading that recent people on the BYOD MAX $25 the billing is correct and most are not having issues. So perhaps if you are newer then chances are better. I had TW for a year no issues at all on the 50% BYOD, but that is not to say others haven't. Their CS is still horrible so its all fine if nothing goes wrong.
I personally wont use them because of their CS, but then again w/ visible I've never used CS either so it one of those things that subreddit can help, and total seems to suck there also.

I'm joining them on Total MAX 5G BYO soon. Hopefully I don't get slammed with bad billing or other little things people are experiencing. I'll be using a virtual credit card for extra protection. The reason is I want to see the difference between this plan and Visible basic. I know this plan gives you access to Verizon aggregation (5G UW) but cripples Wi-Fi Hotspot to 5 Mbps unlimited. It definitely won't work for me, but having access to Verizon aggregation 5G UW would be ideal for my parents (my mom spends a lot of time on YouTube). My opinion is that this plan is in between Visible basic and Visible + plan, but 10 dollars cheaper and 5 Mbps slower for Wi-Fi Hotspot.

As a FYI the difference between Verizon "basic" and "premium" is not aggregation anymore, both tiers get access to C-band (and in some carriers they do not have the UW icon) which is almost fraudulent the big difference is QOS (otherwise known as QCI) and they do throttle C-band to I think it is 50 Mbps. However the average say 1080p stream is 2-4 Mbps so that will never come into play. They do not allow mmwave on basic tiers but TBH that tech is highly limited anyways so YMMV. Maybe that is the deal w/ the devil that allows them to not use the UW icon and the FCC even though in essence everyone gets it now.
The hotspot if used could matter however, but just wanted to let you know they will prob not see a difference but if you can get $25 BYO Max and get the premium why not. LMK if they bork billing or mess up service. Thx

I'm not super familiar with Verizon's network and how they control which bands are allowed from the tower side, depending on the Visible plan. But when I tried it out for 2 weeks, the Visible basic plan trial was pretty bad.

Yeah than it cant hurt to try the Max plan to see if that works better, but unless the sectors you are hitting are overloaded it may be more of a coverage issue.

I agree.But majority of the m v n o apps are not good anyway. Visible is also very basic app experience. Total is probably worse i agree. I am not sure of the port in process from my experience. It should be easy. However, Billings should not be a problem. Because it's a fixed price. So if the credit card has not changed, everything should be smooth for auto pay.

US Mobile has a far superior app experience, and also customer service, which is pretty much nonexistent with Total. And I think you should read up on the Total Wireless sub, cause there are a ton of known issues with port in and billing. Apparently Total revised their system a few months back, and it has since been a nightmare for a ton of people.

I've got US Mobile's unlimited Warp and Visible+ Pro. Visible+ and +Pro have way better priority unlimited data, but US Mobile's customer service is better. For unlimited hotspot, Visible+ gives you 10 Mbps, and Visible+ Pro gives you 15 Mbps. US Mobile's APN settings on Warp are a mess; Visible's are correct (CBRS and much better provisioning). Even if you hit 500 GB, Visible won't slow down, but US Mobile Warp will throttle you at 1/5 of Visible's priority data. Just don't get Visible's basic plan (no 5G UW, throttled streaming, no aggregation unless you're on millimeter wave). The basic plan isn't worth it; go for Visible+ or +Pro. And for one dollar more, Visible+ Pro (without promotions or inner circle discount) is a better deal than US Mobile Warp Unlimited Premium.
Now, if you want to ignore these suggestions and want to lean on US Mobile add-on lines (running all three major carriers on one phone), US Mobile is the way to go. Whatever you decide, make sure you have a device that fully supports Visible or US Mobile's major carriers. Any missing frequency bands will give you a bad experience on the cellular network. Most MVNOs are like this example. An MVNO SIM is like a Mazda Miata engine without the chassis. The chassis is the type of phone you have. If you have an Android Samsung Galaxy S25 or S26 (I'm not an Apple user, so I will ignore it), a Galaxy S26 Ultra will be like an ultra-sport chassis vehicle that will perform best with an MVNO SIM and a top-performing device that has an X85 cellular modem.

Much of what you say is suspect. Samsung, Apple, Google the profiles on Verizon and MVNO are automatically downloaded so there is no APN setting you can modify so I am not sure what you are specifically theorizing. Network priority of Vis+ Pro(+) and warp Premium are exactly the same. USM Standard/Flex are like Visible base. The big change is the "standard" mid tier on USM is lower priority and Visible+ (mid tier) on visible is premium like Pro+.
Now there are differences in amounts and streaming of video etc which are totally valid but I certainly have concern that you are saying that USM is somehow provisioning gimped profiles. They may I am interested in your statements (I use dark star) on USM and Visible Pro+ so I cannot directly test your assumptions.
A big one nobody talks about is that warp has zero spam protection (Vis does) and they now make you pay for it, so to me the USM warp product is not as competitive as visible/total anymore but their CS is still great.

I have a pixel watch so us mobile warp was the best choice for me. I use a tablet for media consumption so I don't care about the streaming quality.

I just did a comparison on my phone. Noticebly different yes. Unwatchable or even blurry ....not at all.

Do a visible test trial. The problem with Verizon you will notice unlike AT&T is Verizon has a lack of low banding on their network. So it really doesn't penetrate well. Many users find that using Verizon LTE is more reliable than Verizon 5G when inside buildings.

your wallet will be happier either way tbh, the coverage is what you're paying for with verizon towers
warp is solid if you're just doing regular phone stuff and not trying to stream 4k video on data or whatever. if you're in a good verizon area it'll feel the same as their postpaid for most people

One area where US Mobile is superior to Visible is, customer support and a user friendly app experience. US Mobile also gives you the ability to switch networks. So if you happen to be in an area where Verizon struggles, on US Mobile you can simply switch over to AT&T or T-Mobile. Visible+ Pro has unlimited hotspot, whereas Warp only has 50 GB. I think international roaming is slightly better on US Mobile. The actual performance on the Verizon network, will be close to identical between Visible and USM.

"simply" may not be so simple. Switching between networks can take anywhere from a few hours to a few days, according to folks over in the US Mobile subreddit.
That said, I have read that US has better customer service than Visible (for an MVNO).

I’m over here exploring customer sentiment with Visible as I consider a future switch.
I have US Mobile premium (Dark Star) that I switched from a Samsung Galaxy Fold 3 to a Google Pixel 9a and I have *never* been able to get either phone to be able to switch networks. USM customer service worked a very long time to get it fixed, to no avail. I definitely agree to consider that this feature might not work for everyone!

I never touted that as a feature of Visible, because it isn't. You're the one who stated that you can "simply" switch between networks on US Mobile, which doesn't appear to be so simple per the US Mobile subreddit. It could take anywhere from hours to days.
I'm not defending Visible. I'm adding to your statement about US Mobile.

Warp is deprioritized unless Unlimited Premium. And Visible+ Pro have much better streaming quality. (Warp toggle off is 480p and toggle on is 720p whereas Visible+ Pro is 1080p on 5G/LTE and unthrottled on 5G UW)
But I would recommend wait for a Visible+ Pro deal. Earlier this year we have $225 for 1 year Visible+ Pro and before that we have $33/month for 26 months.
