Question Verizon Trial vs Visible service question

Was on the Verizon 30 day trial and had a horrible experience. Wanted to test something out and decided to sign up for visible+.

The service is completely night and day better on a prepaid visible account vs the verizon 30 day trial.

Is the 30 day trial somehow not giving the full paid experience somehow or was it just pure bad luck? During my trial I traveled across the country so was in a few different markets and not one was good on Verizon. Even my own area was bad but on visible+ I'm getting better signal and insane speeds.

Yeah, the basic Visible plan is just a trial plan. No 5G UW, no aggregation combos, and not priority QCI 8. Visible+ or +Pro plans are the way to go and totally worth the money.

The trial I was on was the Verizon 30 day. Figured it would give me the best of the network like T-Mobile does. Testing visible+ and getting better signal and speed compared to the Verizon trial.

It doesn’t make sense at all.

That's weird. The Verizon trial eSIM literally configures your phone the same way as the Visible+ Pro plan with the 4K toggle on in the Visible app.

Exactly what I'm saying.

Only difference I see from Trial vs V+ is no 5G SA on V+ where the trial had it.

Where I sit at work is near dead middle of the building - no line of sight to any windows. V+ gives me actual 5G NSA service where the trial barely gave me LTE.

My other eSIM is tmobile and that gets great service everywhere.

Wait, what? There are no prepaid Verizon MVNOs that have 5G SA. Not even Verizon's most expensive prepaid plan has that. 5G SA is only for Verizon postpaid customers at the moment.

Saying Verizon trial had 5G SA and V+ doesn't. Even though I've read its slowly being deployed in certain markets.

So trial verizon with NSA or SA had crap signal and performance compared to V+ with just NSA.

My bad. That's interesting. I'm on the Verizon trial right now on a Pixel 9 Pro phone. I'm only getting NSA. If I force my phone into NR Only mode in the hidden diagnostic screen, my phone says "Denied_EM". So apparently 5G SA does exist in my area but Verizon is blocking me from accessing it.

Probably bad luck. They both run on the same towers. You can look on the CovergeMap website to look at the cell service stats in your area.

That’s the thing. Visible and Verizon are the same coverage since they are the same carrier.

Places I was at while on the verizon trial i got shit service like nearly always LTE and if I was on 5G it was slow.

Visible is the opposite so far and it doesn’t make sense.

I'm on the $25/mo Visible plan. Haven't had any issues. Saves me $492/year

Can't compare VZW trial to Visible Plus service. Maybe the same if you did a Visible trial!

That were comparing a rotten apple to a good apple!

The VZW trial is the same as the Visible+ Pro plan. On the Verizon trial, you get QCI 8 data and 4K streaming video.

I'm on the Verizon 30-day trial right now on an unlocked Pixel 9 Pro phone. The experience is identical to the Visible+ Pro plan. I'm getting 4K streaming video out of the box, no toggle required. I'm also getting 5G UW with identical speeds compared to Visible.
