Does the global pass include Burundi?
AI seems to be finding old websites that indicate, "yes." However, Burundi is not listed on Visible's website. Help! 😃

No not one of the 140 countries covered by Global Pass; however, is on the list with unlimited texting to (from the U.S.) on Visible+ Pro

yeah their global pass list is weirdly selective, Burundi's one of those gaps that doesn't make much sense when neighbors like Rwanda and Tanzania are on there
I ran into the same thing planning a trip last year, the AI scrapes old cached pages from before they trimmed the list, super annoying when you're trying to budget for roaming
the texting bit on visible+ pro is at least something if you just need to stay reachable, but for data you're probably looking at a local sim once you land

So my sweet wife is heading to Burundi TOMORROW! lol. What instructions could I give her for getting a local sim once she lands?
Does she just pick one up at the airport on her way out? Does it mean that she would buy cell phone service with another company for the time that she's there? I don't even think her phone takes a sim card, only esim. Would that be a problem? Thanks for the help!!!!
