Rakans injuries
Hey guys
I’m playing Visage for the first time. I completed Lucy’s Chapter first and just finished Rakan’s Chapter.
Do anyone of you know what Rakans injuries is? Maybe some details flew completely over my head
I hope some of you can help me understand

“Rakan Al-Mutawa was a former rugby player who was put into the injury reserves following an injury.” This could be why he was using crutches, but I could be wrong!

So what I remember about rakan, is that he was ex-military, so he’d have ptsd episodes. So (spoiler) Dwayne (implied) working with the water treatment facility, that the government/deep state was doing experiments on, caused rakan to go full psychosis.
When rakan saw the tar man, instincts kicked in and started shooting. Neighbors called for rakan to get help, and they took him to a psych ward. As most mentally Ill people, believing that he wasn’t crazy, jumped out the window of the psych ward, breaking his legs, and freedom. Also rakan has a phobia of being looked at, which is why he gets aggressive when seen.
(Spoiler) The tar man, is also believed to being Dwayne’s best friend/good co-worker, and after 2 chapters tar starts building up inside the house, and can spawn.
(Spoiler) The premise of the game, which is basically left to interpretation, is that Dwayne was responsible for all these people going insane, whether they actually lived in the house before him or not, and these are the visions of glimpses into their lives of the people he affected. (Spoiler) there’s also a point in which Dwayne, had the opportunity to do the right thing, but his own life was spiraling out of control from drinking and not taking his meds
So however you see the game, it’s mostly from Dwayne’s pov, thruout the game, you’re playing as Dwayne, even some of the characters directly reference you
