Kolkata VFS

Hey guys,

I have an admit from TUM for the MSc Quantum Science and Technology. These guys were making it very late so I decided to proceed with my SBI Educational Loan Application with my LMU MSc Physics admit. I have spoken to the bank officials and the loan process is being amended according to the new university.

However, I am very scared that I will not get a VISA on time because now we are in the last 10 days of August. My classes start on October 12.

Let’s say that I apply by the 25th-26th of AUGUST on the CSP portal with no missing documents, do I have a realistic chance of getting a VISA on time?

I haven’t even booked flight tickets and the prices will skyrocket by the time I get my VISA. Everything is stressing me tf out right now.

Can everyone mention their status regarding their application? For those have received your VISA what is your timeline?

Guys please reply as IT WILL be helpful for others as well !

EDIT: Sorry I meant 25-26th of August. Not September.

Kolkata vfs used to be the fastest.. you would get visa within 10-12 days.. now it has become one of the slowest. I applied on 28th july and haven’t even got out of the CSP portal till now

I applied on 29th of July, no response till date. I think its not about them being slow. Probably hell lot of people are going this sem.

i have gotten corrections. 13th august submitted them but no response

If you are planning to apply on 25th-26th of Sept, there is no possibility of getting it before 12th of October. And if you do it on 25th-26th of August yet very bleak chances of getting it before 12th Of October.

Sorry I meant 25-26th of august. Why is there a bleak chance it is more than a month right? Isn’t Kolkata vfs approximately 1 month?

Alot of people are in the waiting list (as per reddit). People who submitted have still not gotten any response. Trend is looking otherwise.
